By creating a KarKare account or using the KarKare platform at karkare.net, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
KarKare provides a vehicle management platform including maintenance logging, AI-powered diagnostics, depreciation tracking, mechanic discovery, and related features. Features available depend on your subscription plan.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. KarKare uses Clerk for authentication. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal in your settings — access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe an error occurred.
KarKare's AI features (Copilot, Vision Diagnostics) provide informational guidance only. AI-generated advice does not constitute professional mechanical or safety advice. Always consult a qualified mechanic before making decisions about vehicle repairs, especially for safety-critical components. KarKare is not liable for decisions made based on AI output.
You may not use KarKare to: violate any laws, upload malicious content, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer the platform, or abuse the AI features to generate harmful content. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
The KarKare platform, brand, and software are owned by KarKare Inc. You retain ownership of the data you upload (vehicle info, maintenance records, photos). By using the service you grant KarKare a limited license to store and process that data to provide the service.
KarKare is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including any reliance on AI-generated recommendations. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.
We may update these terms. Continued use of KarKare after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email.
